More on Anthony’s Injury: US Tour Dates Postponed

More information has come out on Anthony’s injury (see post below for  the photos of Anthony on crutches that emerged yesterday). Anthony has had to have an operation on his foot and as a result some US tour dates have had to be re-scheduled as he will be out of action for 8 weeks.

RHCP drummer, Chad Smith, has tweeted about Anthony’s injury:

“Ak had surgery mon.on his foot so he’s out for 8 weeks..our sincere apologies for the inconvience. ALL u.s. dates have been rescheduled.”

More information and rescheduled tour dates have been posted on RHCP.com page:

“Red Hot Chili Peppers regret to announce that they must postpone the start of their upcoming U.S. tour due to multiple foot injuries sustained by Anthony Kiedis. Anthony
recently underwent surgery to remove a crushed sesamoid bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in his foot and is expected to make a full recovery.”

 

Tickets for the postponed dates will be honored at the re- scheduled dates.

    this is just pissing me off.
    really screw the american fans. he has had this injurty for a while from what i hear.
    you notice they made all thier european dates.
    most of their tour has been european dates to start with.
    they have ignored the whole northeast part of the usa.
    and on top of it injury or not he sure managed to play for that billionaire on new years eve.
    it is about the money. the tickets are more in europe where they will make more money.
    forget the fans from the north part of the usa who cant go to the rescheduled shows. who have already paid alot of money not only for the tickets, but plane fare and hotel. cuz again the band has ignored a large part of the usa.
    i dont want to hear more dates are coming. bull. i will belive that when i see it.
