To anyone lucky enough to be going to the book signing tomorrow/today/Monday! (time zones!) to see a certain Mr. Kiedis, I hope you all have an amazing time! I know you won’t probably be able to take photos inside the signing but we would love to see photos of the people outside, you with your book, etc. and anything else interesting We’d also love to hear your accounts of the event (I would like to add an article on here featuring them). Don’t forget to check out the Barnes and Noble website of the event in case it has some useful info on there! The latest thing was that wristbands for the event are limited and they will be available from 9 a.m. Barnes and Noble

I bought Fandemonium, which came along with a wristband for the Anthony Kiedis/Dave Mushegain book signing event. As if that wasn’t a big enough treat, Chad & Flea showed up as well, making it a once in a lifetime experience. Usually when you meet a musician who’s in a band, you just meet them. Only one of them. Meeting the whole band though… Unheard of, and I was one of the lucky 500 to meet/shake hands/get an autograph of those who make up ‘The Red Hot Chili Peppers”. The security guards rushed everyone through, so it was tough to get a intimate, meaningful sentence out to Anthony and Flea, but I was able to say something to Chad.
“Chad F***ing Smith. How’s it going man?” I said.
“You know my middle name?” He said.
What a great response.
All around great experience. It’ll make a good story for years to come.
Excellent! Thanks for sharing 🙂 Glad you had an amazing time too! Do you have any photos you’d like to share? Love Chad’s response!!!
