Jesus Christ, how close to the stage were you!? I mean, it seems you were ON the stage! Hahahaha Congrats, Becca, you took amazing pics! I just can’t wait to see the other ones you’re still going to upload. By the way, I hope you had the time of your life too! I know you did, but anyway… Hahahaha Cheers from Brazil!
Haha! I was ON that stage ….cunningly disguised as a speaker 😀 Next time I’m going as a tube sock… LMAO!
No, I was front row and pretty close but not THAT close! There are a few long shots which will give you some more idea of how close to the stage I actually was. I was using my proper camera and that made all of the difference. I think I might have got a bit carried away (haha!) but I knew I was getting some great photos and you know me and my photography obsession so I just went for it as I might not ever get that chance again.I had a great time and I hope I can share some of that with everyone else through the photos. It was brill but sad too as that was the last of the 5 shows I have tickets for this year.
I dreamed about him tonight!
Am I crazy? hahahaha
Thank you; glad you liked them! As for crazy, I know a lot of people who would think that was totally sane! hehe
Am I the only one who was quite disappointed with this show? Apart from Flea, none of them really acknowledged the audience and AK looked mardy for most of it. It’s all a little disheartening when you’ve paid £50 for a ticket.
I think you might be alone on that 🙁
I thought it was amazing; they’ve been getting better and better in my opinion and that was the best of the 5 shows I’ve seen them do this tour. AK did look tired but he was still leaping around the stage like a thing possessed. AK hasn’t really interacted that much with the crowd at any of the concerts I’ve been too- there’s dialogue between him and Flea but Flea’s been the one doing most of the speaking to the audience. AK seems to be really concentrating on his singing; his gf was in front of him for several songs and I noticed he didn’t even look at her because he was so intent on what he was doing. He didn’t look mardy from where I was tbh- just intense and concentrating. I’m not sure about the not interacting with the audience bit, Chad did loads e.g. he came out before the concert and was greeting fans and thanking them for coming (I know because I was one of them! Got a hug, kiss and very blurry photo lol) which was a lovely touch and he was chucking drumsticks like confetti at the crowd all through the set; he also went to a mic at the end and thanked everyone for coming and was shaking hands of people; Ak said thank you each time he walked off stage although he isn’t interacting that much granted; Josh was just Josh and waved a bit and Flea like you said was thanking everyone all of the time. Where were you sat? That could have made a big difference I guess.
Now I am a wheelie I was in compulsory “crip seats” in front of stands – I’ve honestly seen more life in the residents of Yardley Cemetery (Birmingham). The view of the stage were fantastic and show brilliant, more so because all the songs I really wanted to here live were played. I believe as some so called “knowledgeable” fans get older they become pretentious and don’t allow themselves to appreciate what is now. I believe that there is a musicality now in there sound that enhances the rawness of their fundamental essence .Flea showed what a musical genius he is and it was great that Josh was allowed to shine and flow he is a phenomenal guitarist (I’m not taking anything away from John whose star must now shine elsewhere). I loved Chad on the drums definitely the heart of the band and exuded pure Joy. Anthony’s singing was strong and lifted by the others he wasn’t swamped by the others which has happened in the past. Personally I missed the “rush” of being at the front with the moshers but on the bright side at least my feet didn’t hurt in my red hot shiny thigh high boots..lol
Love everyone and feel at peace within yourself and give to others……
