A five minute clip, entitled ‘Deep Kick’, has been posted on YouTube by a long-time RHCP fan. Deep Kick was the name given to the “lost” documentary which was made/being made of the recording of RHCP’s One Hot Minute album. Video was filmed over the three year recording period, but the final documentary was never released. Only some brief clips have previously surfaced e.g. in the My Friends video and it’s not even known how much of the documentary was made/completed. It was apparently dropped because it showed some negative aspects to the band e.g. band members arguing and drug use (Anthony being high).
This recently uploaded video clip shows brief live footage of the Red Hot Chili Peppers and some shots of them in a coach and a car. There is some footage of individual band members, but the main footage in the clip was filmed in Amsterdam and concentrates on Anthony Kiedis. It is filmed at Henk Schiffmacher’s tattoo studio and shows Henk working on the first of Anthony’s dagger tattoos.
BE AWARE:
There is a rash of fake Anthony Kiedis social media accounts cropping up at the moment (there’s also a Chad Smith one on Facebook with direct messages being sent out saying it’s the real Chad). There is currently one on Twitter a couple of people have told me about offering private meetings with Anthony himself for $2000 again through messages. The real Anthony is NEVER going to do that.
The fake account pictured below is being pushed really heavily on other fan pages (links posted by a succession of new page members with fake looking accounts) and operates on several linked social media platforms. Although there are many fake accounts in Anthony’s name, this one is portraying themselves to actually be Anthony e.g. the “official” added to the page name (anyone can do that), posting photos with family members and adding words to posts such as “me” and “my father” (accompanied by a photo of Blackie).
It is NOT Anthony. There is even a post on his father’s Facebook page stating it is not him. The real Anthony has no known social media accounts.
By interacting with this fake account, you could be putting yourself at risk because you have no idea who you are really interacting with and you might be putting others at risk because every like or support for such a fake account is potentially compromising people’s safety because it validates the account and people believe its authenticity more readily. Fake accounts trying to pass themselves off as real often have more sinister motives such as the Twitter account trying to get people to hand over a lot of money for a meeting or even making false promises (a little while back there was a fake Flea account which promised people VIP passes to concerts. Cue some very upset fans). This can obviously affect the reputation of the person they are imitating person so please don’t support them if you are a fan of Anthony or RHCP.
Each social media platform has its own verification mark which has to be applied for, with evidence, to make sure it is a genuine account e.g. Facebook has the blue tick/check:
My friend has kindly put together a list of the main RHCP member social media accounts which are genuine and currently active which you can view on the Facebook page connected to this group and you can always post here or message me and I will get back to you if you want to check an account.
This is a note to “Tim A” who has sent me numerous legal documents through Rocket Lawyer to which I can’t reply. This site has nothing to do with Anthony Kiedis himself. It clearly states “unofficial” in the banner and also on the contact form, disclaimer, etc.
I presume you are trying to contact Anthony himself as the emails are addressed to him and the claims seem to be (I’m not a legal expert and I’m not really sure what the documentation is claiming and this is my assumption) for unspecified amounts against copyright infringements of unnamed songs. That has nothing to do with me. I am just a fan running a fan site. I’m posting this on the off-chance you see it as I don’t want to be involved in this, and as you are contacting the wrong person, it’s pointless for yourself. Anthony Kiedis has no social media accounts that are public so there is no way to contact him online in the way you are doing. I have no contact with him myself (again specified several times on this site).
I would suggest that the best way to pursue your claims is with either the band’s management (they have recently left their long standing management company and no details have been made public that I am aware of as to their new management for me to give you) or their record label (Warner Bros).
Some photos of a young Anthony Kiedis have cropped up on Instagram recently and have been shared like wildfire. We’ve tried to find out the original source(s) of them and can’t find it. If you have any information, please let us know.

In the absence of something new, this video of MTV’s Third Annual Rock N’ Jock Softball Challenge from 1992 was recently posted online. Anthony Kiedis can first be seen at 4:35. He can also be seen at 14:37, a few times between 19:17 and 19:53 and then he catches around 24:37 until about 24:56. You can also see Kiedis a couple of times between 36:28 until 36:49- he sings and runs -and finally, he hugs a girl around 46:03.
Anthony’s father, Blackie Dammett, was also there. You can see him around 38:03 in the background on the left.

It seems as though Anthony Kiedis had another motorbike in his collection. A very expensive, one! A Confederate P51 Combat Fighter motorbike. They apparently cost a mere $135,000!
A post on Iconic Motorbikes, on Facebook, shows the motorbike and says that Anthony lent it to them to ride prior to it being put up for sale on their auction site:
A video recorded on January 1st 1990 while the Red Hot Chili Peppers were touring London has (re)surfaced. Snippets of this have been online in the past, but this is the first time we have seen the whole thing. The video features RHCP, but Anthony Kiedis is featured heavily in the “self-painting” section especially. Close-up shots clearly shows that he did have his back tattoo, the two Indian chiefs, asterisk and one band on his upper arm by 1990. Enjoy!
